Who can be Narked?
Anyone can register a restaurant and nark on them. This way restaurants who have patrons and employees who would like to share information with the Narkal Nation.
Restaurants can be positively or negatively Narked. If you love a local restaurant and know they buy from local farms, *PLEASE* register them so we can go there and enjoy it too! If you learn about a disturbing or shady practice from a restaurant, let's let other people know!
Why is it free to use?
The saying "vote with your dollar" comes to mind. Does that mean if you have more dollars you get more votes?? Narkal levels the playing field to give everyone the opportunity to have a voice and be heard. Restaurants who wish to be featured pay a small subscription to have a featured page, icon and other details that let you know they care.
If they are honest about how Narkally they are a restaurant will receive positive feedback, resulting in more customers. They might not sign up for the service but the Narkal Nation will be able to share their shady food practices. If a restaurant fibs about being Narkally it is up to the Narkal Neighborhoods to share this information so we can make a better vote with our dollars.
The subscription fee from restaurants allows the Narkal App to operate with no pop-up ads 🙂
